Description
Designing a garment from a block pattern. This workshop is for anyone who has previously made a block pattern (tailoring block) and wants to learn how to go from block to design. If you have never done pattern block before, don’t worry, just get in touch via the 'message the tutor' button and we can look at options. In this workshop you will learn the most commonly used methods for turning your block pattern into a design of your choosing. Suitable for any type of garment.

Both train and bus station are a short walk from the Art Space
There is a car park called station road car park. It is located opposite the entrance of Tesco and it is free (despite it says it is only free after 18:00 and all day Sunday). Alternatively, there are some free spaces by the train station and in some nearby neighbourhoods.
