Got a wedding coming up or Ladies Day at the races? Why not make yourself your own special fascinator. This course is an introduction to handmade fascinators, using a variety of different materials including: crinoline, Sinamay, silk flowers, feathers, veiling, beads, etc. Just bring your imagination. You will be shown how to create your own headpiece from start to finish, there will be sewing involved, so knowing how to use a needle and thread is useful. I will show you how to make your own Sinamay flowers too. You will leave at the end of the day with your finished headpiece, to your own design and colour. Please note: the course guarantees the materials to complete one headpiece but if time allows you can complete another at the cost of materials used.
