A complete kit with everything you will need ,apart from scissors, to make your own hardcover notebook or journal. Your book will have hardcovers bound with handprinted patterned paper - NB as shown in the second picture-and lined with a toning plain paper. This covering paper is called 'Travellers Joy' the common name for Old Mans Beard. The pages are white , acid free cartridge which is great for all dry media- pencils, pens etc and light use of watercolour or pen and wash. This paper is 140gsm. The decorative sewing on the exposed spine uses thick bookbinding thread in a colour chosen to show up against the white pages using a long bookbinding needle. The cover paper enclosed in this kit is as pictured on the first two photos , not as shown in the kit contents or on the covers of the example of a finished book Everything you need to know comes in an 8 page, fully illustrated booklet with lots of diagrams and explanations.
