Description
Unleash your creativity with our 'beginner on-demand copper clay enamel jewellery course', where you'll learn to craft stunning, colourful pieces using torch-fired techniques. Guided by an experienced tutor, this course introduces you to the fundamentals of working with copper clay and vibrant enamel powders. Through clear, step-by-step video tutorials, you’ll discover how to shape, fire, and enamel your own unique jewellery creations, blending rich colours with the warm tones of copper. Perfect for beginners, this course provides all the skills and inspiration that you will need. During the course you will learn how to roll, texture, cut and fire the copper clay. You will then explore adding enamels before firing again to create your finished pieces. We will use champlevé techniques to start. Dependent on your experience we may also move onto cloisonné techniques. All courses, workshops and kits come with free support afterwards. I love to see what my students and fellow crafters are up to and really enjoy answering questions or helping if I can. So any booking isn’t just for the day it’s the start of a crafting friendship! This kit is such great value as you will learn 2 completely new skills and have the kit for both processes to carry on afterwards. Please allow 7-10 days for your kit. Rachel Ellen – Craftsperson & Tutor Trained as a graphic designer, I spent 15 years teaching Art & Design and Design Technology, sharing my love of creativity with students of all ages. Craft has always been my passion, not just for the joy it brings but for the skills, confidence, and sense of accomplishment it fosters. Now based in the beautiful Shropshire hills, I feel privileged to welcome crafters from across the UK and beyond to my studio—and now online—to explore traditional and contemporary craft techniques. My teaching is all about supporting each person’s creative journey in a way that works for them, focusing on skill development, sustainability, and making long-lasting pieces.
