Our Introductory Creative Studies – Knitting course is a 30-hour supported self-study programme you can complete in your own time. Accredited by City & Guilds, our Introductory programme is an exciting way to start your knitting and designing journey. Debbie teaches this exciting programme via distance learning so you can learn from the comfort of your own home at a time and pace to suit you. There’s no pressure and Debbie will be there to assist and guide you throughout your learning journey. Whether you are a brand new knitter, aspiring designer or a more experienced knitter who would simply like to consolidate their skills, you will love this new programme. And, if you would like to be recognised for your achievements, you can submit your work for formal accreditation for an internationally recognised, professional qualification from City & Guilds. With over 25 lessons, 15 videos, valuable reference materials and one-to-one tutor access, you will be introduced to keeping a sketchbook and how to use it to inspire and create your own designs. You will learn the knitting and design essentials and how to translate your ideas into successful designs. At the end of the programme you will create a final project to your own design. Your portfolio can then be submitted if you wish, for a prestigious City & Guilds certification.
