Description
I offer felting for children's birthday parties. They will be taught how to create a picture using the art form ‘dry needle felting’. The parties are 1 hour 30 mins and it includes all the materials which are needed to create a 2D needle felted piece. In previous parties, children have created an array of different felted pieces, such as rainbows, hearts, logos, characters, animals. If they want to, then they can also embellish their pieces with buttons and/or beads and they can sew into their pieces, which adds a lovely dimension and enrichment activity. I come with ideas for them, but the children often have lots of ideas of their own. If the children want to frame their Art work, then frames can be purchased on the day for an additional price per frame. This adds a lovely touch to the finished piece. In this workshop I will travel to you (6 mile max travel, over 6 miles is chargeable). Please note, as we use a needle to create their piece, this workshop is only suitable for children over the age of 6. Your tutor Rebecca has 20 years of Art experience, training in Fine Art, then teaching as a secondary school Art teacher and now following her two passions, teaching and Art. I must warn you that this technique is addictive!

Your tutor Rebecca has 20 years of Art experience, training in Fine Art, then teaching as a secondary school Art teacher. She decided to become a full time Mum in 2020. Rebecca has now decided the time is right to continue following her two passions, teaching and Art.
