Epoxy resin wave clock making – Starting 9th January 2025 (2 weeks)
Description
Epoxy Resin Wave Clock Workshop is Back! Our popular Epoxy Resin Wave Clock workshop returns, and we’re excited to invite you to this fun and creative experience! What You’ll Learn: In this two-part evening workshop, you will create Epoxy resin wave clock, a unique seascape using epoxy resin poured over wood. Whether you’re new to resin art or have some experience, this hands-on class is perfect for everyone looking to explore their creativity. Session 1: Practice and Experiment During the first session, you will work on two pieces of art. The first will be a practice project to help you get comfortable with the tools, pigments, and resin. You’ll learn to create stunning wave effects with sea-colored pigments, capturing the beauty of the ocean. This practice step allows you to experiment before moving on to the main project. Session 2: Create Your Clock For the second piece, you’ll create a circular artwork measuring 390 mm wide, which will become a functional clock. You can personalize the design by choosing the clock’s numbers and hands to suit your style. The second session, held a week later, will give the resin time to cure fully. Neil, your instructor, will guide you through the final steps of finishing and assembling your clock. By the end of the workshop, your custom-made epoxy resin clock will be ready to take home. What to Bring: Neil asks all participants to bring two key things: a sense of humour and plenty of imagination! This enjoyable workshop offers a relaxed opportunity to create something unique while learning new techniques.

Both train and bus station are a short walk from the Art Space
There is a car park called station road car park. It is located opposite the entrance of Tesco and it is free (despite it says it is only free after 18:00 and all day Sunday). Alternatively, there are some free spaces by the train station and in some nearby neighbourhoods.
