Description
Learn how to cast your very own masterpiece with the guidance of one of our expert plaster casters! The workshop will take place at the Nicholas H Wood shop, in the beautiful city of Bath. During this evening workshop, you'll be welcomed into the showroom with a glass of champagne, before having the unique opportunity to recreate one of the details from Michelangelo's most famous sculpture - David. At the end of the workshop you'll be able to take your plaster cast home with you, or we offer free postage if you would prefer. The casting experience workshop is limited to 6 people. ''A space where time slows. Sculpted faces whispering stories from the past, lining the walls, floating above. A haven of creativity. Thank you Nick and Felix for the delightful introduction to plaster casting. The process felt almost alchemical. Plaster swirling, forms emerging, each piece frozen in time. With wine flowing and great company, the whole experience was magical, and in the end we had something beautiful to show for it. Thank you.'' - Shadé If you have any questions about the workshop, please do get in touch by clicking on the 'message the tutor' button below.
