Powertex bubbles and flower abstract sculpture workshop. Suitable for beginners. Powertex is a water based, non-toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). This workshop is run by Michelle Melville certified level 4 powertex tutor. In this class I will show you how to make your own abstract sculpture using powertex and stone-art powder, you will also make your own flowers using stone-art clay and molds to add to your sculpture. You will then colour your masterpiece using bister spray (walnut ink) and show you how to dry brush with white powertex to create that stone effect. The exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. Once finished you take your finished piece home with you. Everything you need to make your sculpture will be provided including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
