Description
In this one day workshop, based in a 200 year old, grade one listed, blacksmiths forge, you will participate in all the parts of the lost wax bronze casting process. The workshop is on a one to one basis with artist and founder Neil Lemaire. In small class sizes no more than four, and no less than two. Focussing on casting a bronze ammonite fossil, from a silicone rubber mould, you can even participate in the bronze pour and will patinate your artwork to take home, mounted on a wooden base. The location is based on the grounds of the London Museum of Water and Steam, right next to Kew bridge where there are beautiful pubs and places to eat by the river.
