Precious Metal Silver Clay - Botanical Inspired - Half day workshop oin us on our three hour, Precious Metal Silver Clay Jewellery Making ‘Botanical Inspired’ Workshop, and learn the fundamentals of creating your own beautiful solid silver jewellery. Guided by your instructor you’ll use 7 grams of silver clay to make approximately two, botanical inspired pieces of solid silver jewellery. The number of pieces you make will be dependant upon the size you make your pieces. You’ll use moulds of flowers, leaves and natures little finds (please note these will vary depending upon time of year. We do suggest that you bring your own along to the session also) and replicate these in silver. You will have access to all our different textures, texture mats, moulds and shapes, to create wonderful, unique pieces of jewellery. What you choose to make (charms/pendants/earrings – on wires) is entirely up to you. Please note that ring making will NOT be covered You will learn the process of making jewellery with silver clay from start to finish. After learning how to capture your impressions, you’ll then focus upon how to handle, roll and shape, before drying and refining. The second part of the session will then focus upon torch firing, polishing and learning how to patina.
