Description
Using a coal burning fire in a genuine Victorian Forge built in 1885, trying your hand at the traditional craft of bladesmithing, to forge out your bespoke high carbon blade you can call your own, as I demonstrate how to forge each part.
What's included in the price?
Coal and appropriate steel needed for your bladesmithing class, safety gear provided. Teas or coffee can be provided but best bring a packed lunch so it saves precious time queueing at the Museum's canteen.

I have a BA(Hons) Degree in Silvermetals. I studied at Hereford Technical College of Blacksmithing 2001-2003. I have done my time employed as a welder, steel fabricator and blacksmith around the Country and I have been self employed in my forge since 2004.

FAQs
Not necessarily as you won't be carrying or lifting anything heavy although hardy footwear is advisable.
There is a choice of parking space due to the Museum's own open parking area and a public parking area around the back very close to the back of my forge which would be more convenient for you.
Not necessarily as it depends how many book a blacksmithing class on a particular designated day, as I can accommodate a maximum of five for a class.
