Join us in our Stockport Mill Studio for a 3 hour taster workshop on machine knitting. Whether you're just starting out or seeking to brush up on your skills, our beginner taster class offers a comprehensive introduction to machine knitting. No prior knowledge of knitwear or knitting machinery is necessary. During the workshop you'll develop a solid foundation in machine knitting basics, understanding how the machine operates and its capabilities. With plenty of time for hands-on practice and experimentation, you'll create a variety of samples, each documented for your you to take home. By the end of the workshop, you'll depart with a small portfolio showcasing the techniques you have learnt and a fundamental understanding of domestic flatbed machines and yarn types.
