Beginners half-day pen turning experience (woodturning) 1-2-1 or pairs
Description
Learn how to make a woodturned pen in the peaceful setting of my workshop located in the cottage garden of our home on the Cambs/Norfolk border. Our diamond award-winning classes are one to one or for pairs so you will have an immersive experience with the full attention of the tutor. There will be no other students in the workshop. This half-day session can be arranged for either the morning or the afternoon. It includes refreshments throughout but not lunch. Simon will run through some essential health & safety info and then the student will learn the basics in spindle turning before going on to create a beautiful executive fountain or ballpoint pen from a selection of woods. This experience can be enjoyed as a 1-2-1 or pairs experience - making it the perfect couples gift for Valentine's Day, birthdays & anniversaries. So couples or even parents and children can come along and experience the art of pen turning together! If you're purchasing this pen turning experience as a gift, we can send you a personalised gift voucher in the post or by email for the lucky recipient. It makes the perfect unique experience! About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc. We also offer accommodation in the form of our Crafter's Retreat cabin or we can advise of other local B&Bs.
