Description

If you are interested in learning how to make your own sterling silver bangles & earrings, along with learning silversmithing skills, then this is the course for you. The sterling silver bangle & earring course is suitable for absolute beginners to people with some prior experience who may wish to build upon the skills they already have. The skills you will learn during the day are how to measure copper and silver to form bangles & earrings to your desired shape, along with learing texturizing, patination, sawing, shaping, and how to anneal, solder & cure the different metals. Students will also learn how to buffer and polish the finished pieces to a high shine finish. The course is very interactive and continued support is offered throughout the day, whilst at the same time allowing students to also work independently. The course runs for 3 hours over one day, but on occasions can slightly run over to enable students to complete the project they are working on.

All of the materials used throughout the day are included within the course. During the course tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits are available.
