This watercolour workshop is suitable for you whether you have some experience of watercolour and would like to explore new techniques, or are a beginner. Minimal drawing included! After a time to explore and have a play with colour and techniques, you’ll be guided step by step to create two paintings to take home with you: an atmospheric seascape based on the coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay; an atmospheric landscapes based on Roseberry Topping. You'll explore some fantastic and fun techniques (cling film, wax resist, masking fluid and spatter) as well as practising more traditional washes and wet on wet painting. The emphasis of the workshop is very much on play and experimentation.
