Description
The Gold & Silk Art Nouveau Tulips kit is a stylish design which covers using long & short stitch with silk flosses in red and gold silk flosses for the petals, green silk flosses for the leaves and couching gilt metal pearl purl for the stems and petal outlines. Silk floss has a lovely sheen to it, which combines beautifully with the gold metal thread. The finished embroidery measures approximately 14cm wide by 14cm high. The Art Nouveau kits are a series. The Tulips is the third in this series. Other designs include the Tree, Waterlily and Rose listed in my Etsy shop. Suitable for all skill levels.
What's included in the price?
This gold & silk kit includes the design hand drawn onto a 20cm x 20cm square of antique ivory duchess satin, with a 38cm x 38cm square of calico support fabric, gilt pearl purl in two thicknesses, five reels of silk floss, sewing thread, full instructions with stitch diagram & stitch guide, beeswax and a size 9 embroidery needle. All kept tidy in a neat little box.
