One-day beginners mosaic and meditation workshop, Bettws, Newport South Wales - Saturday 12th April 2025. This very special workshop combines engaging in creative activities and meditation practices, that hopes to provide a mindful approach to relaxation, craft and enjoyment of the present moment. This very special mosaic and meditation workshop collaboration is offering creativity and mediation as tools for mindfulness, aiding individuals in relaxation, taking time out of a busy life to foster a calmer, more collective perspective in our lives and on the world we live in. This is an opportunity to relax and meditate, but also to flex your creative skills, to create two mosaics in a day in a relaxed caring environment with tea, coffee and biscuits. Small groups, up to 8 people only. Workshop overview: The day will commence with an introduction and a relaxing meditation session led by Sharon Milne Barbour from Bengalrose Healing. Sharon is an author, a medium, spiritual teacher, mentor and author, providing mediumship readings and teaches meditation and spiritual development. Following a brief intermission, Justine Stroud, (BA Hons) an experienced, qualified and fully insured mosaic artist, will then guide participants through an engaging mosaic workshop with a break for lunch. After lunch the mosaic designs will be finished followed by a healing mediation session. The mosaics will then be grouted and the day will then be concluded with a circle grounding mediation. Work at your own pace at an easy level.

What's included in the price?

Included are; 5 hours of instruction, two mosaics (a coaster and A4 mosaic house sign) and three mediation sessions. Meditation guidance practice in a safe and caring environment. Clear instructions on how to use wheeled tile cutters, health and safety advice, a wide choice of tiles, boards and coasters to use, grout, glue, all the equipment needed, a materials list to help you know how to make further mosaics at home, and a wide variety of mosaic and craft books to look through.

My name is Justine, I live in South Wales and I teach children and adults to make mosaics as well as arts and crafts. I created my company 'Primary Colours Murals and Mosaics' in 2012 and have been working in primary schools and community centres helping people enjoy creating mosaics. I have a BA (Hons) Degree In Art and Education, I am fully insured and I am also DBS checked.
