A six day resin experience. A very in-depth and involved course encompassing many resin activities and techniques. Learn the following: - How to create resin art (using 400mm x 300mm project boards). - How to create custom resin worktops. - How to use repeat resin techniques, using 600mm x 400mm project boards. - Deep pour mould reparation. - How to make a solid colour river coffee table top (approx 800mm x 500mm). - When complete, how to clear coat the river table top. - How to make a solid wooden coffee table top, finished with clear resin. - How to clear coat resin on wood. - How to use resin with silicone moulds. - How to create freestyle resin products using freestyle moulding. - How to select the right resins to use. - How to mix resin correctly. - How to add pigments, metallics and acrylic paints, and spray paints. - How to calculate how much resin/paints are required for every project. - How to “MATT” resin. - When and how to use Isopropyl & De-natured alcohols. - How to use dyes. - What to charge for your work. This course will give you all the knowledge you will need to create beautiful resin products on almost any project you undertake. This course can also be considered as a “life skill“ and many of our students have now created enterprises of their own. This course is one of the, if not the most, in-depth courses in the country, providing access to many years of experience, tips, tricks, and techniques of the resin industry.
