David James creates beautiful pebble mosaics for gardens, country estates and public spaces both in the UK and abroad. His work is featured in award winning gardens and has won several Gold awards for his work, including a show garden. David's work is featured in The English Garden magazine, Country Life, The World of Interiors, and Only Bespoke. His work can be seen at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, Sir Roy Strong’s The Laskett, the acclaimed Betty Tea Rooms and Chelsea Flower Show.

"I learnt so much on this course and now have the confidence to make more mosaics of my own. The process is magical. I brought some of my own stones that the kids had collected to add a personal touch. You don’t need to be artistic. The steps are kept simple and help is always to hand. Very relaxing and therapeutic- carefully placing each stone. And the end result brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend anyone giving it a go. "

"What a wonderful, informative course David and Caroline provide. My friend and I attended this day course last Saturday and we enjoyed it very much. David and Carloine are warm friendly people and their knowledge of their craft is boundless. I have always wanted to have a go at making pebble mosaics and to make one with such brilliant artists to help guide me was a real joy, I am looking forward to seeing the finished result. Bear in mind that you will need to collect your mosaic at a later date as the setting adhesives obviously need time to dry out properly. Ilkley is a lovely market town and I am looking forward to having another good lood around it when I go to collect my mosaic. Thank you David and Caroline for running such a wonderful course, you are Stars and your work is Amazing Xx"
