"Never in a million years did I think I could achieve a sculpture of a large owl that I could be proud of, but at the end of a fabulous two day course I have! With Jo’s help and guidance I have created a beautiful owl. I am thrilled with it. Working in a beautiful studio in a stunning garden deep in rural Norfolk was idyllic. Jo is a wonderful tutor and a great host. Her husband Andy works equally hard on making the course a success, providing the armatures and teas! Highly recommended."

"Fantastic course from start to finish Jo is such a great teacher and makes you feel so welcome. "I don’t consider myself artistic but yesterday I had the best day at Jo’s on her One Day Hare Sculpture Course. Jo is so welcoming and put all my worries at ease. She has a lovely studio in rural Suffolk and one becomes immediately inspired by the surroundings. Jo has a wealth of knowledge and experience with running "work shops ". Our day was well planned and ran smoothly. Jo’s instructions were easy to follow and she is obviously passionate about providing the best possible tuition. The group was small, 7 of us in total and it was great fun. I found it incredibly relaxing and I never realised how much fun being creative could be! I still can’t believe I have come home with an amazing hare that I created! I cannot recommend Jo highly enough, a fabulous, fun day and I really hope I can return again soon."

"I did this course with my mum, neither of us are artistic, especially my mum who was actually quite anxious about doing something 'arty'. But Jo gave superb guidance throughout the day and we left with a beautiful hare each which we love. Jo was lovely, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. Appearances from her dogs and husband made the day even more relaxed and fun. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone, even those who think they're not artistic. "

"I had a brilliant day! I was doubtful that I would produce anything resembling a hare as I have limited artistic ability. But under Jo's care and exceptional skill, I have a very happy leaping hare on my windowsill. Jo is very kind and a very talented tutor. She showed us how to do everything at a good pace but also kept a discreet eye on our progress, gently offering guidance and help where needed. A massive thank you to Jo for her extra help and to Andy for the very welcome refreshments. I have already signed up for another course. If you can't decide if this is for you, go for it. You won't regret it."

"My friend Sally and I had a wonderful day on Jo’s one day hare sculpting course. Jo, her husband Andy and pooches gave us a warm welcome before we ventured over to the studio located in their beautiful garden meadow. Jo’s tuition was faultless, the whole day was well organised and paced perfectly. Both Jo (and later in the day) Andy were on hand, attentive but not in an intrusive way knowing when to step in and offer help when needed. With a little help from them both I managed to create an adorable hare. There were plenty of refreshments to keep us going 😊 I can honestly say this is the best creative course I have ever attended and I’ve been on a few! Lovely hosts, great fellow students with plenty of laughs and to top it off glorious weather. Sally and I are already planning to do a 2 day course when one becomes available. "

"My husband Chris and I did this fabulous course on 12 May. Jo and Andy made us all so welcome - (as did the 2 lovely friendly cockapoos!) We learnt so much during the day but it was still relaxed and fun. We now have a pair of medium sized hares that will go outdoors in a few days. Jo explained and demonstrated each step of the process fully and was always available to offer advice and help whenever needed. It's a fascinating thing to do, and so satisfying to come home with a beautiful item that you have made! I'd love to do a 2 day course but will have to wait until a space next year as all courses are very popular. It was a lovely group of people, the weather was perfect, Jo and Andy's garden is super and a great showplace for examples of Jo's work too. We were kept well refreshed too! Thank you Jo and Andy - and the group for a smashing day we'll remember for a long while. "

"Had a great time making the medium hare. I chose to have the ‘scratching ear’ pose. Jo was a great teacher and everything was explained clearly, and, of course, she was there to help with problems that arose and give advice. Every part of the process was enjoyable. Andy came to the rescue when it got hectic with the plaster……he also makes a good cuppa! A lovely way to spend the day. (I have been studying my hare today, he may not be perfect but every time I look at him I love him a little bit more)"

"I did the Hare sculpture course yesterday with Jo, I have to say it was the most fabulously enjoyable day I’ve had in a long while. Everything about it was great, we had a group of 7 people and Jo helped everyone with the help of husband Andy who kept us topped up with material’s. It was a busy day, but not to full on, plenty of time for tea/coffee, biscuits and cuddles with the adorable dogs. I would absolutely recommend it and actually would love to do it again."
