"I very much enjoyed my one-to-one MIG Welding day with Tony earlier this week. True to say that I struggled with the technique to start with, but Tony was very patient, and by the end of the day I was getting decent results. I’ve come away with the confidence to attempt the project I have in mind, and am sure that with a bit of extra practice I will be happy with the results. So, well done Tony, you are an excellent tutor!"

"Duncan us a truely talented woodturner and tutor. His skill and passion is clearly demonstrated throughout the day. His hospitality and generosity really adds to the experience. Duncan shared in our excitement as we created our pens at the transformation of the wood as it's uniqueness was revealed. There was a relaxed atmosphere and quiet sense of humour throughout the day. We have been recommending Duncan's workshops to friends and family throughout the week and if you are interested in booked would definitely encourage you to as you won't be disappointed and will have beautiful pens tot are home with you. Emma reviewed: Copper Foil Technique Stained Glass

"I travelled over 40 miles for this course, so hoped it would be worth it. I was not disappointed, Amanda was so helpful, describing each process, adapting my own patterns which I had bought, choosing different colour and patterned glass and advising at every stage. She is very patient, lovely to talk to and gives the best one to one help, never rushing you. She even offered help if I ever needed it on future projects I wanted to do at home. Plus the bacon baguette for lunch was spot on. Definitely recommend this copper foiling course and I proudly came away with two pieces "

Dragonfly Glass Art responded:

"Awwww, thanks for taking the time to write such a lovely review. It was lovely to meet you, and I hope you continue to enjoy making lots more glass things at home!"

Gary S reviewed: Spoon Carving with Touchwood Glasgow

"The course was exactly as described. It delivered everything that my daughter and I wanted, and quite a lot more. We spent the day using quality tools, working with natural materials under the guidance of Robert, a master craftsman. So far, so good. However, the sum of those parts felt like so much more. I felt we were given a small insight into the philosophy and practice of 'Making'. This has had quite an impact, and has stayed with me. That may seem like a strange thing to say about making a spoon (which I'm very proud of), but perhaps that's the point. The icing on the cake was spending the day with a small group of lovely, like-minded people. I strongly recommend that you stop reading these reviews and book the course."

Carole Goldsmith reviewed: Beginners Junk Journalling / Art Journal Workshop - Junk Journalling - Blended Monkey

"A really lovely venue at Denny Abbey and as with a previous course attended, really good 'joining instructions' and information. Zakiya, was very knowledgeable, passing on information easily, including showing detailed work on a screen display. She gave lots of inspiration, also bringing examples of her Junk Journals to inspire. The amount, diversity and quantity of materials to make our own were amazing. A really friendly, inclusive atmosphere, and thank you Simon for teas, coffee and biscuits all round. The Café is also to be recommended with a lovely selection of food and drink (homemade soup was lovely). And at the end of the day, lovely memories of shared learning, and our very own Junk Journal, incorporating things of interest and keepsakes of the future."

Blended Monkey - pottery - woodturning - green woodworking - pole lathe - throwing responded:

"Carole, thank you for your lovely, expansive and detailed review! Very kind of you to take the time to consider your workshop experience. We're so pleased you enjoyed the session and hopefully we'll see you again in the future :-)."
